Moving & Handling People at Naidex 2015
Unfortunately, and with regret, the two day Moving and Handling People conference due to take place at Naidex on 29th and 30th April has been cancelled. This decision has been made mutually between Naidex and the Disabled Living Foundation (DLF).
“Despite the synergy between the DLF conference agenda the fact that moving and handling is a key subject at Naidex, the two different formats have not suited each other for this particular event. However, Naidex and DLF have many shared areas of interest and will continue to work closely together in the future,” says Alison Willis portfolio director at i2i the organisers of Naidex.
Ed Mylles, director of business development at DLF added: “It is not a decision that has been taken lightly. In its 21st anniversary year this was to be DLF’s first regional venue for M&HP outside London and the charity remains committed to developing a programme of regional M&HP events to provide wider access to delegates to this successful specialist learning event. Delegates who have booked onto the Moving & Handling Conference at Naidex will be offered a full refund,” he added.
The next Moving and Handling People London event will take place on Tuesday 2nd and Wednesday 3rd February 2016 at the Human Rights Action Centre, Amnesty International’s HQ in Shoreditch.
